ABOUT

Hi There! I am a credentialed Pre-K to 12th grade vocal and instrumental music teacher with five years of experience teaching Preschool - 5th grade music at Village, Capri, Lynhaven, and Forest Hill Elementary Schools in Campbell Union School District, at Del Roble Spanish Two-Way Bilingual Immersion (TWBI) Elementary School in Oak Grove School District, and at Garden Gate, Eaton, and Collins Elementary Schools in Cupertino Union School District. I now teach preschool, elementary, and middle school music and serve as Musical Director for the annual middle school musical theatre production at a private school in beautiful, tech savvy Silicon Valley. During my time teaching at all ten school sites, I prepared students for all parades, concerts, musicals, and even an opera performance in collaboration with San Francisco Opera. 

 

Additionally, I have seven years of experience teaching private lessons: voice, piano, guitar, ukulele, bass guitar, song writing, and audition/performance preparation at music schools in San Francisco, Los Gatos, and Campbell as well as my own private music studio. I've been a classically trained musician for 37 years, studied musical theatre in college, and performed on many acclaimed stages in the San Francisco Bay Area, LA, Lake Tahoe, Napa, and Boston in a Queen tribute act. I specialize in preparing my music and theatre students for a joyful, professional, highly skilled, and individualized path to their future in music and stage performance.

In 2022, I received my M.Ed. in Educational Technology. I hold a certificate in Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and Professional Learning Communities.
